Tennis has an advantage over many sports in that facilities are easily available in hotels clubs and parks in many countries worldwide. All you need is another enthusiast to participate in an enjoyable, healthy, stress-relieving, sociable fun-time. In keeping with this atmosphere, I teach a style called FEARLESS TENNIS. This approach points the way to enjoyment and success by encouraging positive emotions, and thoughts before and during play. Which leaves a relaxed, refreshed feeling after play. This style goes hand and glove with the fact that beginner’s tennis (technique wise) is far easier to learn if the double-handed shot is taught on both sides. One-handed shots, which are initially more difficult, can be more easily introduced as a learner improves. Among the world class examples of double-handed players are Jan Michael Gambil and Monica Seles.
It has been, and continues to be, a pleasure establishing through tennis, long term personal and business contacts from Europe and Africa to the Americas. Whether travelling or at home, after-play conversation, and get-togethers has added riches to my cultural awareness and appreciation. Some of my best friends now, were previously my tennis students, partners and opponents. So Jump in and learn, whether to just fun-rally, or game-play with friends, or enter tournaments here or abroad. Enjoy playing tennis, after many years, I certainly still do.
