Thank you for the music. From an early age I was powerfully influenced by the music of overseas artists and that played by my eldest brothers at home and at their band rehearsals as us younger siblings listened or sang along. By my late teens my cherished possessions were vinyl discs from The Jackson Five, Cat Stevens, the Beatles, the Temptations, Santana, Simon and Garfunkle, Dionne Warwick and Diana Ross and more. Frequent house parties in my late teens and then after at clubs would fine me dancing to Rick James, Al Green, James Brown, Donna Summer, Boney M, Chic, Brothers Johnson, Abba and the greatest entertainer Michael Jackson. Their music will always be a great part of my early inspiration, and fun. Their lyrics was and is, a valuable educational insight into the lifestyle and values from other cultures that helped to shape my life and love for travel. As a DJ (7 nights per week) in the early eighties at the 'Rendezvous Room' Their inspiration and quality made my success, easy to achieve. The best way to thank them for the music is now to produce and in turn positively influence others of this time, and to inspire joy by the truth in lyrics, singing, dance and instruments and arrangements God has continued to provide for me……. Music is very very powerful. For good reasons I have avoided the stage most of my life, except for a national karaoke competition and a few songs with a small starter band, and family functions…. these reasons for remaining in the shadows no longer exist.
